Meet the Chaplain for this pilgrimage:

Fr. Frans Berkhout is currently the Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Bethlehem, PA. He has been to the Holy Land with Steve and Janet as the Chaplain at least 7 times and is a great homilist and confessor. Father Frans grew up in New York and has maintained the distinct accent that matches his fun personality. He has served as a Catholic Highschool Principal and is excited to return to the Holy Land, provide the sacraments to the young pilgrims and lead retreat-style reflections along side Cindy Brown (Steve Ray's daughter) on this pilgrimage.

What does the cost of the trip cover?

Inheritance Pilgrimages is cut from the same cloth as Steve Ray’s well-known Footprints of God® Pilgrimages, but with budget friendly meals and accommodations aimed at more youthful travelers.

Our aim is similar: to keep your focus on the sights and spirituality of the Holy Land, and not on nickels and dimes along the way. We used our years of experience to put together a team in Israel to bring you an authentically Catholic and spiritually focused pilgrimage with trusted local guides and drivers. And just as you would expect, all your meals in Israel, tips, taxes and fees are included.

Here is what is included in the price:

  • Round trip airfare from (Detroit, MI)
  • One checked bag
  • Tour guide throughout
  • Transportation in deluxe buses
  • Dead Sea excursion
  • Hotels
  • All entrance fees
  • Breakfasts, Lunches & Dinners (as detailed in the itinerary)
  • All tips & gratuities
  • Mass reservation as per itinerary
  • Taxes on all services, including hotel taxes

Please note the following are some of the items not included:
