Meet the Chaplain for this pilgrimage:

Fr. Sean Grismer is a priest of the Diocese of Rockford in Illinois. He was ordained in 2016 and currently serves as Asst. Principal and Spiritual Director of Aurora Central Catholic High School. Fr. Sean first encountered the Holy Spirit on a silent retreat in 2010 and since then continues to grow in the deep love of Jesus Christ. He has a heart for the youth and desires each person to encounter the Holy Spirit and come to know Jesus Christ as friend and Lord.

What does the cost of the trip cover? 

Inheritance Pilgrimages is cut from the same cloth as Steve Ray’s well-known Footprints of God® Pilgrimages, but with budget friendly meals and accommodations aimed at more youthful travelers.

Our aim is similar: to keep your focus on the sights and spirituality of the Holy Land, and not on nickels and dimes along the way. We used our years of experience to put together a team in Israel to bring you an authentically Catholic and spiritually focused pilgrimage with trusted local guides and drivers. And just as you would expect, all your meals in Israel, tips, taxes and fees are included.

Please note the following are some of the items not included: 

  • Additional luggage fees charged by the airline (eg. overweight or oversized bags)
  • Meals that are not mentioned on itinerary
  • Drinks apart from what is served as part of meals.
    • Note: Bottled water available on the bus for $1.00/bottle (bring plenty of singles)
  • Personal items and purchases at shops, etc.
  • Optional camel ride
  • Expenses related to getting your passport

Holy Land Scholarships:

Steve Ray has led thousands of pilgrims to the Holy Land, and he is seeking the generosity of these past pilgrims and others that are passionate about young people experiencing Israel and the Holy Land.

*Scholarships range from $50 to $1000 but are not guaranteed. They will be provided to applicants based on criteria including essay evaluation, financial need and availability of funds.

The schedule for funding your pilgrimage is as follows:
$450 Deposit
$1,750 Due within 10 days of registration
$1,750 Due by Oct 30, 2023
